Hello from a Norwegian in Latvia

Hello all,
I'm a Norwegian, currently living in Latvia.
I started off with filming, mostly motorcycle trips, around 2016 and at that time I bought Corel Videostudio. Later on, I subscribed to Adobe.
Getting totally sick and tired of paying a monthly fee, that now only corrupt state leaders can afford, I jumped ship and downloaded Davinci Resolve. Only to find out it wouldn't work with my 8K files. So I bought the Studio version, and what a delight. Not only does it work with 8K files from my phone, but also my Canon EOS R5 RAW 8K movie files (which is in the vicinity of 15GB/min size).
Just wetting my toes in colour grading (Canon LOG footage) and learning the program interface, as it is a bit different from Premiere Pro (I don't miss it, though. It had a tendency to crash often on big files).

All in all, I think the Studio purchase is well spent money, and best of all; it's a one-time payment
