He everyone. I just started trying to force my self to learn Resolve as I am a long time Vegas Pro user. I always manage to get things done in Vegas, but it is somewhat odd also... There is new Ai things but they do not make it easy to learn. I think Davinci Resolve seems to have it all "together" you know? It's very well designed indeed. so I will persist and plod on. The Blackmagic learning courses are very good, very in depth, and the PDF ones with media are helping me a LOT. You tube videos vary from bad to horrid, even at 75% speed. 25 guys saying the same thing and the same features. It's kind of illogical. And don't get me started on Tik Tok shorts trying to show you something in 20 seconds. I grew up on landscape video not portrait style, I hate that people started using phones for video and never learned to flip them sideways. Urgggg I hate portrait style videos. And yet they proliferate all over the world and "in my face".
Anyways glad to be here. I will share things I learn and help out when I can give a good answer.

(BTW I hope I will be dead and gone before movie theatres show movies in portrait perspective.)

I hate portrait mode! I'm 63 and will be long gone if/when that ever happens.
